ERI Silk Eri or endi is a fine silk made out of open ended cocoons. Absorbs moisture, is wrinkle free and drapes well. It is a boon for people who preach ahimsa because the silk is made only after the pupae leaves the cocoon. It is also called the poor man's silk as it is not heavy on purse. Eri is often mixed with cotton.
